Are you suffering financial hardship as a result of the recent floods?
The purpose of this Special Communique is to ask if you are suffering from financial hardship as a result of the recent severe flood events that have impacted several states and numerous towns and cities.
If so, please do let us know and we would be happy to ask your life insurer for a temporary waiver on your life insurance payments.
We have already helped one of our clients in this regard.
And while, we have not yet had the opportunity to contact all insurers in the market to ask what their policy is in relation to financial hardship caused by recent floods, we do know that at least one major insurer (TAL) is offering premium waivers of up to two months to TAL and Asteron Life customers who are directly impacted by the floods.
We understand how traumatising it can be to have suffered from the inundation of your home or business.
The Financial Rights Legal Centre provides a useful fact sheet with general information about Making a claim for flood damage which can provide a starting point of factor to consider prior to getting professional advice.
If you are unsure please feel free to call your AFRM adviser direct, call us 1300-364-341, or email admin@afrm.com.au and we will do all we can to secure you some temporary financial relief during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Rob Vitnell
AFRM Managing Director.
